Extension of the economy cycle of products, the sustainable and greener flow of operations and production, the active involvement, motivation and persuasion of consumers in the circularity process and in short, minimizing and smart management of waste are part of the circular global story. Circularity switched from intention to a fully standardized and normed domain, countries, including Romania have now a National Strategy for the Circular Economy, metrics to be achieved, assumed commitments to international organizations.

To highlight the developments of the circular economy in Romania, The Diplomat-Bucharest is organizing the 4^th Edition on March 26 at InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest, Regina Maria Hall, the conference dedicated to the CIRCULAR ECONOMY updates in 2024.

The discussions at the conference will shed light on the status of local measures and actions related to the circular economy in Romania, the updates of National Strategy for the Circular Economy (SNEC), the identification of developments to provide a current perspective of concrete implementations and the applicability of the principles of the circular economy system in the Romanian economy.
